Initially, OWLplane only utilize S3D during development time. But LW-PLA/ePLA-LW is also supported for some parts (spars should be used if printed with LW-PLA/ePLA-LW and available for all models). No need LW-PLA/ePLA-LW for reducing weight up to 30%. Nozzle size is 0.30mm – 0.40mm, best with 0.30mm. You may notice that the result will have 20% – 30% less weight with regular PLA or PLA+.ģD Printer volume min. If you have 0.4mm Nozzle, you may want to try G-code files for 0.3mm Nozzle and see if the Nozzle still can print with acceptable quality. G-code files are provided for you to start with both 0.3mm and 0.4mm Nozzle. S3D, Cura and ideaMaker Profile files are provided for your Direct Drive and Bowden Printer setup for both 0.3mm and 0.4mm Nozzle but only for PLA (for other Filaments, just update the temperature Profile files accordingly and follow manufacture setting recommendation for LW-PLA/ePLA-LW). Once you have downloaded, you can start printing your plane with Filaments that you choose such as PLA, ASA, ABS, HIPS and LW-PLA (note: not all parts are suitable if using LW-PLA/ePLA-LW).
